Tunable parameters of EventGenerator.

property batch_overshoot_sigma¶: Number of standard deviations of headroom added when sizing a batch, to avoid overshooting the target count.

property combine_thread_count¶: Thread count used to combine per-channel event files; -1 for the hardware concurrency.

property cpu_batch_size¶: Batch size used on a CPU device.

property cut_efficiency_threshold¶: Minimum acceptable fraction of events surviving fiducial cuts before a warning is raised.

property finish_remaining_fraction¶: Fraction of the target count below which the generator switches to finishing up the remaining events.

property freeze_max_weight_after¶: Number of survey events after which the maximum weight estimate is frozen.

property gpu_batch_size¶: Batch size used on a GPU device.

property max_batch_fraction¶: Largest fraction of the target count schedulable in a single batch.

property max_batch_size¶: Largest allowed number of events per generation batch.

property max_cut_repetitions¶: Maximum number of times a batch is resampled to reach cut_efficiency_threshold.

property max_overweight_truncation¶: Fraction of the weight distribution’s tail truncated when estimating the unweighting efficiency.

property optimization_patience¶: Number of consecutive non-improving iterations tolerated before the survey stops optimizing.

property optimization_threshold¶: Minimum relative improvement counted as progress by optimization_patience.

property start_batch_size¶: Initial number of events per generation batch.

property survey_max_iters¶: Maximum number of survey iterations.

property survey_min_iters¶: Minimum number of VEGAS/channel-weight survey iterations.

property survey_target_precision¶: Target relative precision of the survey’s integral estimate.

property target_count¶: Number of unweighted events to generate.

property vegas_damping¶: Damping factor of the VEGAS grid updates; see VegasGridOptimizer.
