ObservableValues

class ObservableValues : public madspace::FunctionGenerator

Per-event observable values, without binning.

Evaluates one Observable per entry of observables and returns the raw values instead of accumulating them. Unlike ObservableHistograms this keeps the full event sample, so the binning can be chosen afterwards when the generated events are combined.

batch is the leading batch dimension. i indexes the observables.

Arguments

  • momenta – float, shape (batch, n, 4) – the event momenta.

Returns

  • value_i – float, shape (batch,) – the value of observable i. An event-level observable returning a vector keeps its own shape.
